Create Portraits That Tell a Story

The X2D 100C Lightweight Portrait Kit includes Hasselblad’s flagship mirrorless medium format camera X2D 100C and two lenses — XCD 1,9/80 and XCD 4/45P. A pair of XCD 1,9/80 and XCD 4/45P, respectively, deliver 63mm and 36mm equivalencies to provide more portrait shooting options in different scenarios.

The XCD 1,9/80 is a medium format wide-aperture autofocus lens. It is especially suitable for portraits thanks to its ability to produce a bokeh effect through excellent subject isolation with a shallow depth-of-field. The XCD 4/45P stands as an ultra-lightweight and compact medium format autofocus lens that makes subjects stand out while accommodating more environmental elements to generate narrative imagery.

X2D 100C

Unfolding a New Chapter of Imaging

The X2D 100C is equipped with a 100-megapixel medium format IBIS CMOS sensor. With the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS), the camera optimises skin tones to appear as authentically as the eye perceives them in both RAW and JPG photos. The 100-megapixel CMOS sensor delivers 16-bit colour depth for expanded flexibility in post. With HNCS as technical assistance, photographers are able to edit based on accurate colours to more fully unleash their creativity.

The X2D 100C features 5-axis 7-stop in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) to assist in capturing crisp handheld portraits, even at a slow shutter speed at night.

The X2D 100C utilises Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) to provide swift and accurate focusing at the press of a button. A built-in 1TB SSD can store more than 4600 photos in RAW, empowering the storage of high-speed, large-batch, and high-quality portrait photos.

Both the XCD 1,9/80 and XCD 4/45P feature an integral central shutter, offering exposure times from 60 minutes to 1/2000s with full flash synchronisation. Creativity and inspiration are fully unleashed, even in mixed-lighting scenarios like flash and day light.

XCD 1,9/80

Wide-Aperture Portrait

The XCD 1,9/80 is a medium format wide-aperture autofocus lens that produces a stunning bokeh effect.

With an advanced and intricate optical design, and creative calibration technologies, the XCD 1,9/80 delivers ultra-high performance in lens resolution and colour difference, and strikes an optimal balance between sharp, in-focus areas and bokeh areas. Excellent optical performance is guaranteed, even at the widest f/1.9 aperture.

At wide apertures, the lens not only delivers exceptional defocus effect in the background, but also creates a soft, gorgeous bokeh characterized by circular light spots. This results in graceful, smooth transitions from the sharp areas in-focus and the blurred periphery. With narrow aperture, it can deliver Hasselblad’s signature eight-point starburst effect.

When working with X2D 100C, it can deliver sharp 100MP details and a soft bokeh to bring your creative expressions to the next level.
